Workshop in Orientation Program on Semester Implementation and Curriculum of Master′s Degree (April 7-13,2017)

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean’s office is conducting six days orientation program which has been started from yesterday in Padma Kanya Campus Bagh Bazar .

In the inaugural session, Chief Guest-Prof. Dr. Sudha Tripathi highlighted utilities of semester system and the framework developed by Tribhuvan University for the implementation of semester system.

The  semester system has been extended in Master’s level in all of its constituents and affiliated campuses of Kathmandu valley from this academic session by Tribhuvan University.

The objectives of orientation classes were: to deliver information about objectives and design of Master degree courses, to assess the content analysis of each paper, and to discuss the evaluation criteria and techniques of semester system.

The concerning experts delivered their opinions on the basis of semester guidelines approved by TU. Open floor discussions were encouraged among the participants. Participants were selected from various campuses who are teaching in master’s level program.
